Sayril “Bhing” Solsona Spreitzer
Sayril “Bhing” Solsona Spreitzer passed away peacefully at the age of 52, on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at St. Joseph Medical Center with her beloved husband by her side. Sayril was born on August 6, 1972, the daughter of the late Eglecerio Benecio and Josefa Coranes (nee Zuniega) Solsona. Born and raised in the Philippines, she worked for several years as a Paralegal.

A woman of immense warmth and kindness, Bhing lived a life defined by love, generosity, and creativity. She had a rare gift for making others feel special, often expressing her affection through her handmade creations. Her talent for crafting beautiful quilts and purses was matched only by the joy they brought to those lucky enough to receive them.
Bhing was known for her selflessness, always placing the needs of others before her own. She raised two nephews and a niece from birth through college, while working full-time. Her radiant smile and compassionate heart left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She brought light and comfort into every space she entered, living each day with purpose and grace.

Bhing is survived by her loving husband of 10 years, Daniel L. Spreitzer; and her step-children, Christopher (Rebecca) Spreitzer and Sara Spreitzer. She is also survived by numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews, who cherished her like a “mom”.
She is preceded by her parents; and her brother, Audy Solsona.
Visitation for Sayril “Bhing” Solsona Spreitzer will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, IL, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 4:00 p.m. Bhing will be laid to rest in her home country at Providence Memorial Park in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan Province of the Philippines.
