Scotty was pure joy. He was a happy little boy with the sweetest smile, the loudest laughs, and a personality that could light up any room.

Obituary was published and funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home and Crematory​.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Scotty Pierce Lobenberg, who left this world far too soon at just eight months old. He was born on September 22, 2025, in Palo Alto, California, and passed away on June 5, 2026, in Fairfield, California.

Scotty was pure joy. He was a happy little boy with the sweetest smile, the loudest laughs, and a personality that could light up any room. Whether he was giggling at familiar faces, tackling baby milestones, or playing with his beloved pets, Scotty brought happiness to everyone lucky enough to know him.
His favorite place was in the arms of his mommy and daddy. Every smile, cuddle, and moment became a cherished memory. Scotty filled every space with love and laughter.


His family loved him deeply. Scotty is survived by his parents, Kathleen and Gregory Lobenberg; grandparents, Douglas and Kelly Gossen, and John and Kelly Lobenberg; great grandparents, Donna Curry, Dorothy Curry, and Bernard Hellmann; Aunts and Uncles, Kristen and Adam Graf, Karla and Steven Keeley, Kara Gossen and Morgan Gulley; precious cousins, Athena Graf, and Benjamin and Charlotte Keeley; and numerous great aunts and uncles, and cousins

Though we wish he had more time, we are forever thankful for the beautiful memories he gave us. Scotty will be missed beyond words, remembered every day, and loved always.

Visitation for Scotty Pierce Lobenberg will be held on Sunday, June 14 2026, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, IL, from 3:00 p.m. until his Funeral Service beginning at 6:30 p.m. Cremation rites will be accorded following services.
