OSWEGO, IL — The Oswego Police Department is looking to hire quality, professional and career-oriented individuals for the position of police officer. The application deadline is noon Friday, Aug. 17. Starting salary is $59,401. For candidates already certified as a police officer in Illinois, it's $61,183.
Applicants must be at least 21 ears of age and be under 35 years of age, unless they fall under one of the exceptions to the maximum hiring age.
