Ottawa Street Pool Events: Stay Cool, Have Fun

PLAINFIELD, IL — Have fun and stay cool this summer at Plainfield Park District’s Ottawa Street Pool. Throughout the summer, join the Plainfield Park District for a special event or save on your entrance fee on Fridays.

Events include:

• Starts June 8: 50 cent Fridays—Beginning June 8 from 7-8:30p get in to the Ottawa St. Pool for just 50 cents! Must have proof of residency at time of entrance purchase
• Tuesdays: Family Float Nights—Every Tuesday from 7-8:30p—Bring in floats, rafts and other fun pool items.
• June 17 (Father’s Day): Cool off on Father’s Day with a free admission at the Ottawa Street Pool! Dad or granddad gets in free with one paid admission between 12p and 8p.
• July 4: Soldier’s Salute—from 10a-6p--Free admission to all Veterans and active military with a Military ID or VFW card.
• July 21/August 11: Flick-n-Float Nights—(FREE to season pass holders) Bring your inner tube and enjoy a movie under the stars on July 21 and August 11! $3 entrance fee for non-season pass holders.

• June 20/July 11/ August 1: Family Theme Nights—(FREE to season pass holders) Enjoy a night of special activities and games related to the theme of the night.
• June 20 7p--70’s Night
• July 11 7p--Christmas in July
• August 1 7p--Pirate Night
• August 2: Plainfield DARE Night Out: Teen Pool Party – FREE!—The event is held for former District 202 DARE graduates in 6th through 9th grade and includes music, games, pizza and fun! For ages 11-15. 6-8p
