Pace Bus Changes: New Trips, Non-Stop Service Added On Plainfield Route

The changes will provide additional capacity, Pace said.

PLAINFIELD, IL — If you're a regular rider of Pace Bus Route 755 from Plainfield, expect some changes starting Monday, June 12. In fact, several routes will change, with new trips and non-stop service added to increase capacity, according to Pace.

The changes affect Route 1-55 bus-on-shoulder routes including 755 (West Loop Express) from Larry's Diner and the Plainfield Village Center Park N Rides, as well as 850, 851 and 855. Starting June 12, changes and additions will include:

  • 2 inbound trips and 2 outbound trips on Route 755
  • 1 inbound trip on Route 850
  • 1 outbound trip on Route 851
  • 1 inbound trip and 1 outbound trip on Route 855

Some trips will run nonstop routes between Plainfield and Chicago:

  • 2 nonstop inbound trips and 1 nonstop outbound trip on Route 755
  • 1 nonstop outbound trip on Route 855

Start times for six trips will change, affecting times by a few minutes.
