Park District Foundation Santa Drive Through Event Dec. 5 & 6

The Friends of the Plainfield Park District Foundation will host a drive thru Santa event on Dec. 5 and 6 at the Prairie Activity & Recreation Center, 24550 W. Renwick Rd.

Families can pose for a socially distanced photo with Santa who will attend inside a giant snow globe to ensure safety.

The event will run from 3-6p on Saturday, Dec. 5 and 2-5p on Sunday, Dec. 6.

In addition to photos, children will also have a chance to deliver their letters to Santa on both days.

Cost is a $20.00 donation per car. Funds raised from the event will support the Foundation in its work to assist the Plainfield Park District’s mission of providing recreation opportunities for area residents.

Pre-registration is required and is available through the Park District’s website, plfdparks.org.
