Patricia Cremeens

A dedicated nurse for nearly 50 years who cared deeply for everyone.

Patricia L. Cremeens, age 76, a resident of Plainfield, IL passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family. She was the third child of James and Mary Graham born on June 25, 1948 in Joliet, IL.

Pat is survived by her loving children, Carrie M. (Robert) Hartley of Rome, OH, Thomas E. Cremeens, Jr. of Plainfield, IL, Michael C. (Kristen) Cremeens of Lehighton, PA, and James (Ewelina) Cremeens of Plainfield, IL; her cherished grandchildren, Shelby (Nick) Barron, Patrick Potter, Abigail Hartley, Michael Hartley, Katelynn Hartley, Joseph Hartley, Kaitlyn Cremeens, Oliver Cremeens, Maxwell Cremeens, Elliot Cremeens, Lila Cremeens, Aiden Dugan, and Connor Dugan; her dear siblings, Kay (Dan) Ferrario, Bob (Barb) Graham, Jane (Dan) Culkin, Dick (Janet) Graham, Rose (Jeff) Waller, Jim Graham and Mary (the late Tim) Henneberry; her siblings-in-law, Michael Cremeens, James (Judith) Cremeens, Mary (Martin) Mudron, Maureen (the late Thomas) Cercone, Katherine Johnson; her numerous adoring nieces and nephews; as well as countless great friends.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Thomas Cremeens; her parents, and her infant brother, Thomas Michael Graham; and brothers-in-law, Richard Cremeens and Timothy Cremeens.

Pat was a graduate of St Mary Immaculate Catholic Grade School and St. Francis Academy, Class of 1966. She earned her nursing degree from the St. Francis School of Nursing in 1970. Pat dedicated almost 50 years to caring for others.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Overman-Jones Funeral Home, corner of Routes 30 & 59, Plainfield. All are welcome to gather on Saturday, January 11th at 10:30 AM for a Memorial Mass celebrating Pat’s life at St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 15629 S. Route 59, Plainfield. A private family inurnment will be at St. Mary Immaculate Cemetery, Plainfield.
