Plainfield Band Boosters Organizes 25th Annual Fall Craft Show

PLAINFIELD, IL — Plainfield Band Booster's 25th annual fall craft show is scheduled to take place Oct. 28-29.

All proceeds from the craft show will support the band programs at all four Plainfield District 202 high schools. Last year, the event raised more than $36,000, district officials said.

Attendees — the event draws thousands each year, officials said — will have the chance to shop more than 200 booths selling crafts and gifts. Food and baked goods, including the Band Boosters' beloved baked potatoes, will be for sale as well.

Plainfield Central High School, at 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive, will host the show that's set to begin at 9 a.m. both days and run until 4 p.m. Oct 28 and 3 p.m. Oct. 29.

Admission to the craft show will cost $5 for everyone 18 and older and free for anyone younger. Each person who pays will also receive a raffle ticket.
