Plainfield Bank Robbed, Police Search For Suspect: FBI

The suspect gave the teller a note demanding money, according to an FBI news release.

PLAINFIELD, IL — A Plainfield bank was robbed Saturday morning and authorities are asking for the public's help identifying the suspect.

According to a news release from the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Chicago office, Heartland Bank in Plainfield was robbed around 11:20 a.m. The bank is located at 14901 IL Route 59.

Authorities said the suspect gave the teller a note demanding money. He did not display or imply that he had a weapon. No one was injured during the robbery, according to police.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing blue jeans, a dark baseball cap, a protective face mask and glasses. He is approximately 25 years old.
