Plainfield Central Gets New Athletic Director
Mark Krusz will replace current PHSCC Athletic Director Dave Stephens, who will serve as the school's principal next year.

PLAINFIELD, IL — Carl Sandburg High School Athletic Director Mark Krusz will take over the same position at Plainfield High School – Central Campus next school year, according to a press release from Plainfield School District 202.
The District 202 Board of Education approved hiring Krusz at its March 21, 2016 regular meeting.
Krusz will replace current PHSCC Athletic Director Dave Stephens, who will serve as the school’s principal next year.

Krusz started his education career in 1999 as a physical education and health teacher at PHSCC, the release said. He taught the same subjects at St. Charles North High School from 2001-2004, before returning to PHSCC in 2004, where he again taught PE and health for three years, according to the release.
From 2007-2013 Krusz served as assistant athletic director at PHSCC, then moved to Sandburg in 2013 as athletic director.
