Plainfield Central to Host Spring Concert

PLAINFIELD, IL — The Plainfield High School – Central Campus bands will present their annual Spring Band Pops Concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 5 in the school auditorium, 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive, according to a press release from District 202.

The program will feature performances by the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Concert Band, under the direction of Band Director Dan Valkema and Assistant Band Director Pat Hoadley. There is no admission.

The concert will include movie music, light classical, Latin and big band jazz selections.

Senior band members of the Class of 2016 will be honored.
