Plainfield College, Financial Aid Expo Is Thursday

PLAINFIELD, IL — Over 20 Illinois colleges and universities will be on hand at the Plainfield Township Youth Committee's ninth annual College and Financial Aid Expo.

The free event is open to all District 202 students and their families. It will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 2, 2017 in the cafeteria at Plainfield High School—Central Campus, 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive, Plainfield.

The event is presented in conjunction with District 202. The Plainfield Township Youth Committee will provide refreshments.

Colleges and universities including Joliet Junior College, North Central College, Eastern Illinois University and University of Illinois-Chicago will share information with students and families.

As well, the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) will provide financial aid and scholarship information, and guidance about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process.

Everyone attending will be entered into a raffle to win an IPad Mini (one entry per family.)
