Enjoy local produce and more from June to September.

PLAINFIELD, IL — The Plainfield Farmers Market — also known as the Historic Downtown Plainfield Farmers Market — will be back again this year, with opening day on June 3. The market is open Sundays from noon to 4 p.m. in the Plainfield Public Library parking lot on Route 59 through Sept. 9.

"We have locally grown produce and many locally produced crafts such as soaps, jewelry etc.," organizer Suzy Bostanche wrote online.

The market is slated to have vegetables, fruits, eggs, baked goods, personal care items, fresh and dried flowers, pet food, herbs, specialty items and more.
