Plainfield Fire department visits Montessori of Plainfield

October is fire prevention month. To learn more about fire prevention, Plainfield fire fighters came to visit students at Montessori of Plainfield. While the firefighters were there, children got the opportunity to learn about the importance of Stop, Drop and Roll why we use fire alarms and to even see the Fire Fighters with all of their gear on. The highlight of their visit was being able to see and go inside their trucks! It was an educational and fun time. Thanks Plainfield Fire Department!

Montessori of Plainfield was founded in August of 2000 by Montessori trained teachers and sisters, Mari-Ann Unger and Linda Mora. The academic preschool and kindergarten is for children ages 3-6 and is a member of the American Montessori Society. Teachers are CPR and first aid certified as well.
