Plainfield Kiwanis to Co-Sponsor Photos with Santa

Free Photo Event Part of Downtown Plainfield's Heart of Christmas

The Kiwanis Club of Plainfield will help spread some holiday cheer this year by helping run Photos with Santa during Downtown Plainfield’s annual Heart of Christmas event on Saturday, Nov. 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Krema Coffee House, 24038 Lockport St.

Wyler Studios, who is also co-sponsoring the event, and Natalie Navarro Photography will be on hand to take the photographs. Families will receive one 4x6 print of the photograph. The photograph is free, but the Kiwanis will be collecting free-will donations to go toward helping Plainfield families who are in need this holiday season.

The Heart of Christmas is a co-sponsored event with the Plainfield Area Chamber of Commerce and the Plainfield Park District. Both the lighting of the Crèche and Grinchmas on the Green will be happening. Besides having a photo with Santa taken during the event, families can enjoy meeting Santa and the Grinch, be a part of the annual tree lighting, take a holiday hayrack ride, make a photo frame and write a personal letter to Santa Claus.
