Plainfield Kiwanis Sponsoring Soup It Up and Craft Fair
Warm up with 14 different kinds of soups from area restaurants.
Get out of the cold this Sunday and warm up with tasty cups of soup at the Kiwanis Club of Plainfield’s annual Soup It Up fundraiser. The event takes place in the cafeteria at Plainfield North High School, 12005 S. 248th Ave. in Plainfield. Doors open at 10 a.m.
For only $7, people who attend Soup It Up will get the chance to try 14 different kinds of soup. The soup is all generously donated by Plainfield-area restaurants: Backroads Pub, Blueberry Hill, The Broken Yolk Café, Craft’d, Delicia Mexican Grill, Fox’s Restaurant & Pub, Nabby’s Restaurant & Catering, Macarena Tapas Restaurant in Naperville, Plainfield’s Delight Restaurant, Sovereign, Southern Belle, Tap House Grill, Tortilla Flatz and Westfield Family Restaurant.
There will also be a craft fair with a variety of area vendors selling their handmade items. Several area businesses and organizations have also donated an exciting mix of fun raffle prizes. Raffle tickets – one ticket for $1 or six tickets for $5 – will be available for purchase the day of the event.

Bring the whole family! Children will have the chance to play in a bounce house donated by Party Hoppers and a balloon handler will be making balloon animals – all included in the cost of admission.
Tickets may be purchased for $7 at the door or online at https://bit.ly/2H49zLF. Kids ages three to 10 are $5. Under three is free.
