Plainfield Library Board Election Petitions Available Sept. 23

Nominating petition forms for the April 7, 2015 library board election in the Plainfield Public Library District will be available beginning Tuesday, Sept. 23 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Plainfield Public Library District’s Business Office, 15025 S. Illinois St., Plainfield.

Completed petitions must be filed between Dec. 15 and Dec. 22 at the Plainfield Public Library District’s Business Office. The Plainfield Public Library District’s Business Office will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 22.

Three seats on the seven-member Board of Library Trustees are up for election on the April 7, 2015 ballot. Candidates elected will serve four-year terms expiring in April 2019. All library trustee positions are nonpartisan. Any US citizen, 18 or over and residing in the Plainfield Public Library District, may apply.
