Plainfield Library Cards Available Online

Register during National Library Week, and you could win a gift card from a local Plainfield business.

(Plainfield Public Library District)

The Plainfield Public Library District wants everyone in our community to have access to our great e-resources, but you will need a Plainfield Library card to use some of those resources. While we are closed, we’re making it easy for you to get a library card if you do not already have one. Apply online in just a few easy steps. Free movies, e-books, audiobooks and more are just a few clicks away!

In honor of National Library Week, the Plainfield Public Library District is running a contest the week of April 19 to April 25. Anyone who registers for a library card during the week will be entered into a drawing for a gift card from a local Plainfield business.

To apply for a temporary Plainfield Library card, residents of the library district can fill out an application online. Once the application has been reviewed by library staff, a library card number and PIN will be emailed to the new patron. The temporary library card will expire on June 1, 2020, unless the physical card is picked up at the Library once the building reopens.
