Plainfield Looks For Community Feedback About Accessibility Improvements

The upcoming meeting will be about Plainfield's Americans with Disabilities Act Transition Plan.

PLAINFIELD, IL — The Village of Plainfield will host a public meeting Thursday to get the community's feedback about future accessibility improvements.

The meeting is scheduled for 5-7 p.m. in the community room at Village Hall, 24401 W. Lockport St. Residents, community organizations and other stakeholders are invited to attend.

Village staff will discuss its Americans with Disabilities Act Transition Plan, which focuses on evaluating and improving accessibility within the public right-of-way, including sidewalks, curb ramps and intersections. The meeting will feature informational displays and project maps.
