PLAINFIELD, IL — A 23-year-old Plainfield man was arrested in Indiana on Thursday after he led Indiana state troopers on a high-speed chase that ended on Interstate 94 in LaPorte County, police said.

Kenyon Johnson was arrested after police said he was traveling in a Jeep Grand Cherokee that was reported stolen from Plainfield.

Police said troopers first saw the vehicle, which had different plates that matched a different vehicle, Indiana State Police said. The driver of the vehicle then sped off and got onto I-94, which it remained on until it got off on I-90 because of a flat tire after it ran over stop sticks which had been placed at the exit, Indiana State Police said in a news release.
