Plainfield Man Pleads Guilty To Attempted Solicitation To Meet A Child

He was arrested in December 2024 as part of a human trafficking investigation in Yorkville.

PLAINFIELD, IL — A Plainfield man who was charged as part of a 2024 human trafficking investigation took a plea deal earlier this month, according to Kendall County court records.

Albert G. Pintoy Jr., of the 12000 block of Red Clover Lane, pleaded guilty Feb. 10 to attempted solicitation to meet a child and was sentenced to four days in the county jail and 12 months of probation, court records show.

He was credited for the two days he had served in jail following his arrest Dec. 13, 2024, when he was originally charged with traveling to meet a minor, a felony. He was 53 at the time of his arrest.

Pintoy was also fined $1,924, according to records. His next court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 3, 2027.

Pintoy's arrest was related to the Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation Trafficking Enforcement Bureau's two-day operation on June 26-27, 2024, focused on identifying people looking to engage in commercial sex acts, Patch reported. Digital evidence showed the Plainfield man's involvement, investigators said.

Three other men were arrested as part of the investigation in June 2024, while Pintoy was arrested in December.
