Plainfield Mayor Gets $4K Salary Increase
The increase will go into effect after the April 2017 election.

Trustee Bill Lamb said at Monday night’s meeting that the last time the mayor’s salary was raised for four years ago.
“I think it’s highly justified based of the fact the mayor does a lot of work and is the visible face of the town and I think it’s important he be reasonably compensated," he said.
