Plainfield Movies in the Park Begins June 10
The summer-long event kicks off with a screening of "Inside Out."

The Plainfield 2016 Movie Series will begin Friday, June 10.
Starting at 8:30 p.m., movie lovers will be able to see "Inside Out," rated PG.
The movie schedule for the rest of the summer is:

- June 24 - "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb"
- July 8 - "Peanuts"
- July 22 - "Kung Fu Panda 3"
This summer, the Plainfield Library, Police Department and Fire Protection District will also be at the movies. Plus, you can cool down with shaved ice from the Kona Ice Truck.
Settlers’ Park is located in Downtown Plainfield, southeast of the intersection of Lockport Street and Van Dyke Road and just south of the Village Hall. Parking is available in the Village Hall Parking Lot, on Village Center Drive, and on Van Dyke Road.

Terraced seating is available. Attendees are also encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Concessions will be available for sale and the proceeds will benefit the movies in the park.
