Plainfield North Soccer Team Holding Fundraiser for Injured Player

The event will be held on Sunday, Oct. 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the practice fields at Plainfield North High School.

PLAINFIELD, IL — The Plainfield North Boys Soccer Team is rallying around fellow soccer player Billy Fraley after he was injured during a game last month.

On Sept. 13, Plainfield South High School freshman goalie, Billy Fraley, dove to stop a goal and was kneed directly in the nose causing his nose to be completely smashed in. Due to the nature of his trauma, he was taken to Loyola Medical Center where he had his first surgery performed. Because he is only 14, and the bones in his face are not done growing, he will require more surgeries down the road.

The Plainfield North Boys Soccer Team want to help a fellow Plainfield soccer player out by hosting a Bubble Soccer fundraising event that will be open to the public.
