Plainfield Park Board Nominating Petitions Available Soon
Two six-year terms, one four-year unexpired term and one two-year unexpired term are up for grabs.

PLAINFIELD, IL — Nomination petitions for candidates who wish to run for the Plainfield Park District Board of Commissioners in the April 2, 2019 consolidated election will be available starting Sept. 18. Petitions can be picked up between 8:30 to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday at the Recreation Administration Center, 23729 W. Ottawa St.
The earliest signatures may be filed is 8:30 a.m. Dec. 10. Petitions must be filed by 5 p.m. Dec. 17.
Up for election are two six-year commissioner terms, one four-year unexpired term and one two-year unexpired term.

According to the Plainfield Park District website, the terms for these commissioners will expire in 2019: Peter Steinys (elected 2013), Bill Thoman (elected 2017), Rebecca Hosford (appointed 2017), Jason Rausch (appointed 2017).
