Plainfield Park District Bags of Hope Food Drive Sept. 19
Plainfield Park District will host a food drive on September 19 at the Prairie Activity & Recreation Center, 24550 W. Renwick Rd.

The Plainfield Park District will host a non-perishable food drive on September 19 at the Prairie Activity & Recreation Center, 24550 W. Renwick Rd., from 9-11a.
The event will benefit area non-profit Bags of Hope in its mission to provide backpacks of non-perishable food items to students in Plainfield and surrounding communities.
This September, the Park District, along with other area agencies, is taking part in Hunger Action Month, which raises awareness of the work of local food pantries, as well as monetary and food donations which help support area families.

Volunteers from Bags of Hope will be onsite on September 19 to collect non-perishable food donations in the parking lot at PARC. This will be a drive-up, contact-free drop off event. Monetary donations can be made the day of the food drive as well.
Donations can also be made to Bags of Hope and other area food pantries online.
