Plainfield Park District To Host Public Forum On ADA Transition Plan

Officials are seeking input from residents about its American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan via the meeting and a survey.

PLAINFIELD, IL — We need your input!

The Plainfield Park District is holding a public forum seeking input to its American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan. The meeting is set for 6:30 to 8 p.m., August 10 at the Prairie Activity & Recreation Center, 24550 W. Renwick Road in Plainfield.

Residents are invited to come to the meeting and/or participate in the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/plainfieldparkdistrict.

The purpose of the survey is to hear residents’ accessibility preferences and priorities regarding Plainfield Park District facilities, parks, and park amenities. Listening to its residents and users helps the District comply with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act. All feedback is anonymous and is used to improve efforts from the District.
