Plainfield Park District Offering Smartphone Registration

If you've got an Android smartphone or iPhone, you can now register for Plainfield Park District programs with the touch of a button.

“The goal is always to make program registration as easy as possible,” park board president Peter Hurtado said in a press release. “And having registration available by smartphone is the next step in that process.”

In addition to registering in-person at park district facilities, members can also use their phones to register online via their phone at www.plainfieldparkdistrict.com by using the registration prompts.

“While ease of use has always been a priority, making sure that the consumer’s credit card information was handled securely has also been critically important,” said Park District Interim Communications Director Doug Booth.  “This new way of signing up for park district programs has been checked and tested to make sure it operates as intended and I believe our customers will appreciate how easy it is to use.”

Registration for classes, programs and events included in the fall/holiday program brochure is now open for all residents and non-residents.
