Celebrate the start of spring with a pony ride at the Plainfield Park District’s Normantown Equestrian Center.
Children ages 3 and up can register for 10-minute rides during the April 14 event at the Park District’s 6-acre equestrian center, 12151 S. Normantown Rd., south of 119th St. in Plainfield.

About the Normantown Equestrian Center
The 6-acre Normantown Equestrian Center opened in 2005 and is the Plainfield Park District’s site for equine programming with private lessons and year-round boarding. The facility includes a large 78x180 foot indoor riding arena with a heated observation area, a small indoor riding arena, two large outdoor riding arenas, and five paddocks. The facility also includes 48 horse stalls, indoor wash rack, as well as a club room/classroom. NTEC welcomes all skill levels from beginners to more advanced riders, ages 8 through adult and hosts classes for students ages 5-7 throughout the year.
