Plainfield Park District Takes Third Place in the Agency Showcase Competition
The Agency Showcase Competition is the premier communications and marketing competition for park and recreation agencies.
The Plainfield Park District was recognized for its Scout the Fox summer Facebook campaign by earning third place in the Social Media Campaign category. According to Agency Showcase officials over 40 park districts participated in this year’s competition.
The Agency Showcase Competition is the premier communications and marketing competition for park and recreation agencies. Winning an individual or agency award at the Soaring to New Heights Conference is a testament to the tremendous dedication and countless hours contributed to making the community a better place to live… and play!
Senior Graphic Designer, Corinne Vargas, commented on the Agency Showcase recognition saying “I am very proud to be a part of the Plainfield Park District family and for colleagues in the industry to recognize the hard work we do here in Plainfield.”

Other park district winners in the Social Media Campaign category were Palatine Park District, Wilmette Park District, Champaign Park District, Bolingbrook Park District and Hoffman Estates Park District.
