Plainfield Parks Spring Fishing Derby Casting Off in April
Reel in the fun with the Plainfield Park District for its Spring Fishing Derby on April 27.
Fun will be the catch of the day at the Plainfield Park District’s Spring Fishing Derby on April 27.
The event starts at 9a at the Van Horn Woods East pond, 17200 S. Frontage Rd., and runs until 10:30a.
Young anglers can test their skills with the rod and reel in three separate age divisions for 3-5; 6-8; and 9-13 year olds.

Awards will be given for the longest fish in each age division and participants will also be entered in to a raffle for a chance to win more prizes.

- This is a rain or shine event. Please dress for the weather and conditions.
- Open to ages 3-13 with an adult.
- $5 for residents/$7 for non-residents
