Plainfield PD Asks For Photos, Posters Honoring Senior Citizens
The posters will instill faith in the community spirit among 500 senior citizens who have not seen their families amid the pandemic.
PLAINFIELD, IL — The Plainfield Police Department asked residents on Facebook Tuesday to band together in the spirit of creativity for the senior citizens who have not seen their families since the beginning of the COVID-19 quarantine.
The department asked people to make a sign or poster letting the nearly 500 seniors across the town’s four senior facilities know that they are missed, while also assuring them that they can get through this together.
The pictures or posters can be emailed to triad@plainfieldpd.com. They will be compiled and shared with the senior facilities. For more information, call 815-267-7200.
