Plainfield Police Dept Explorers bring home first place trophy

Post 127 brings home first place trophy at Nationals competition

Last week the Plainfield Police Dept Explorers Post 127 participated in the Nationals competition held at Purdue University. The teams were up against over 3,000 other competitors from all over the US and participated in events such as traffic stops, shooting skills, room clearing, marching drills, physical training and other scenarios. It was the crime scene search that the post took a first place win.

Lead by Officer VanHeeswijk, the post trains every week at the Plainfield Police Dept and prepares the participants to become future law enforcement officers.
