Plainfield Police Will Take To Dunkin' Roofs In Fundraising Effort
The cops on the rooftop will be raising money for Special Olympics Illinois.
PLAINFIELD, IL — If you spot Plainfield cops on the rooftops of Dunkin' on May 15, there's nothing to worry about. Officers will be up there to raise money for the Law Enforcement Torch Run.
From 6 a.m. to noon Friday, the Plainfield Police Department will be stationed at two Dunkin' locations — 25653 W. Lockport St. and 13313 S. Route 59 — for the Cop on a Rooftop fundraiser benefiting Special Olympics Illinois.
Police will sell mugs, shirts, hats, pins and raffle tickets. Customers who donate will be given a coupon for a free donut. Guests who donate $10 or more will receive a coupon for a free medium hot or iced coffee and a travel mug, while supplies last.
