Plainfield Public Library Board Seeks New Trustee
The new trustee will serve the remainder of the current term through April 2021.

Applications are being accepted to fill an opening on the Plainfield Public Library District’s Board of Trustees.
The Board of Trustees is a seven-member board that establishes library policy, hires the library administrator, adopts the annual library budget, authorizes library services and sets salaries.
The new trustee will serve the remainder of the current term through April 2021. This short-term opening on the board was created when trustee Ryan Gilles resigned from the current board. Once this term is completed, the new trustee may seek re-election in April 2021 for a four-year term.
