Plainfield Restaurants Open For Thanksgiving Day 2023

PLAINFIELD, IL — For people who don’t want to spend hours or even days cooking and cleaning up from a big turkey dinner, several restaurants in Plainfield are open on Thanksgiving Day.

Restaurants open for the holiday on Thursday, Nov. 23, offer a range of dining experiences, from fine dining to fast casual to fast food. In some cases, you’ll need to make a reservation, so plan as much as possible.

Some restaurants are offering take-out options for Thanksgiving. Opera House, at 24027 W. Lockport St. in Plainfield, is selling items a la carte and can be ordered for pickup between 4-8 p.m. Nov. 21 or Nov. 22.

Chop'd, at 12337 S. Route 59, is also offering pre-orderable Thanksgiving meals that feed between four to eight people. Meals cost $135 and will be ready for pickup Nov. 22.
