Plainfield School District to Host Candidate Orientation

The District 202 Board of Education will have a special meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, to hold a candidates’ orientation for the April 2015 election.

The meeting is open to prospective board of education candidates and will take place at the District 202 administration center, 15732 Howard St.

No other board business is on the Dec. 17 agenda.

Three of the seven seats on the board of education are up for election on April 7, 2015. Nominating petition filing began Monday and will end Dec. 22.

The four-year terms of board president Roger Bonuchi, secretary Greg Nichols and board member Kevin Kirberg will expire in April.
