Plainfield School to Hold Talent Show
The free show is open to the public and will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 20.
The John F. Kennedy Middle School Poetry Club will host its inaugural “Plainfield’s Got Talent” show on Friday, Nov. 20.
The free show is open to the public and will be from 6 to 9 p.m., in the school’s large gym, 12350 S. Essington Road, Plainfield.

There will be a performance competition and a student art/photography show.
Twenty students from sixth to 12th grade will perform and more than 20 students’ art work will also be displayed.

Chicago-based poet Harold Green III will host the show. Green has been coming to John F. Kennedy for eight years working with eighth-grade students on writing and poetry.
