Plainfield South Bass Fishing Team Donate's $200.00 Fight 4 Frank

PSHS Bass Fishing Team Steps up to the Plate Donating $200.00 For the Man who helped Build High School Bass Fishing

When the Plainfield South Bass Fishing Team Heard of the event to try and raise money for Frank Labanowski the Former Youth Director for the Illinois B.A.S.S. Nation they came together as a team and started collecting donations for the "Fight For Frank ". The Boys and Girls of Plainfield South Bass Fishing raised $200.00 for the Benefit. Frank has been recently diagnosed with Esophagael Cancer and needs an expensive treatment procedure at the Mayo Clinic. Coach Bob Bobich and Mike Towe of the Illinois B.A.S.S. Nation with the Doantion for "Fight for Frank" . Good Luck in your Battle Frank we are praying for you to beat this.

This isn't the first time the Bass Fishing Team has stepped up to help others. Actually this is the 4th time in 4 years ! They Helped out the Veterans in 2016 on Lake Springfield instead of practicing for the State Championship. In 2017 they Got affiliated with 'Take -A Vet Fishing.org and Raised $7200.00 Dollars for the Veterans. In 2018 with the Help of David Van Doorn , Lake County Water Sports, Evinrude Outboards, Wauconda Boats, Pro Tour Baits, Atturo Tires and Fish Hog Baits they did it again and Held a Tournament with a Veteran In the Boats" Share your Boat With a Veteran" . If your worried about the Future of our youth don't worry so much the Team from Plainfield South High School Bass Fishing team has shown the future is bright in Plainfield ! Plainfield South High School Bass Fishing Team Is the 2017 Illinois B.A.S.S. Nation State Champions.
