Plainfield South High School Sophomore named Junior All-American All Star

Plainfield South High School Sophomore has a great outing as a Junior All-American All Star

Ryan Sieder, 16, of Plainfield, a Sophomore at Plainfield South High School was named a Junior All-American All Star. Ryan played over Thanksgiving weekend in Sarasota, Florida in the All Star Tournament in the High School Division on the Green Team which went undefeated into the Championship Game on Sunday afternoon. The Green team faced the Black team for the Championship and it was a fight to the finish for both teams. The game went into extra innings with the California Rule in place but ultimately the Black team prevailed with the final score of 9-8. Sieder had three shutout innings pitched, he also had 3 singles, 2 doubles, 3 rbi's and 4 stolen bases. So a big congratulations to Ryan Sieder on a job well done.
