Plainfield South HS to Hold Drumathon and Vendor Fair

Looking to show off your drumming skills or just get a taste of what drumming is like? Head to Plainfield South High School for the Drumathon and Vendor Fair from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12.

Friends and families are invited to PSHS Field House to help keep the beat for 8 hours straight. Professional drum sets will be available, as well as smaller sized sets for kids. Also available will be the high school band percussion instruments.

In addition to the drumming, a bag tournament will be held at 11 a.m. Participants will have to sign up by 10:30 a.m. the morning of. The cost is $10 per person and a blind draw will be held for teams.

But wait, there’s more. Face painting, concessions, popcorn and a bake sale will also be going on.
