Plainfield siblings reaching high goals as student-athletes.

There is no resting with the D’Iorio Family in Plainfield, IL! While others might wait patiently for goals to happen, this sibling duo committed to their young goals and put forth their hard work and efforts and have been enjoying the fruition of their accomplishments. They have both fully embraced their role as student-athletes and the great influence it can have on their peers and on their future.
CASSIDY D’IORIO finished out her Freshman year at Plainfield North High School on the High Honor Roll (5.2 gpa), placed 4th in world (ICE All Star Cheer) at The Summit All Star Cheer Competition hosted and broadcasted at the ESPN Center at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL, was nominated into the National Academy of Future Science & Technology Leaders and attended the 3-day congress in Boston, MA (June 28-30) and was also most recently inducted into The Society of Torch & Laurel. Cassidy participates in year-round, competitive All Star Cheer for the ICE All Stars Senior 4 Team. DAVID D’IORIO finished out his 7th grade year at Heritage Grove Middle School on High Honor Roll, inducted into the National Junior Honor Society and was selected to the USA National Football Team as Running Back to train with a select group of athletes from across the country at Walsh University in Canton, OH and participated in the 2015 Development Games (broadcasted) at the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium on July 4. David was selected as Captain for the USA National Football Team and highlighted as one of the “Players to Watch.” David also plays off-season 7-on-7 football for the Midwest Boom and is a member of the Naperville Patriots Jr. Midgets Team during fall season. David comes from a long heritage of football as his Grandfather, Dave Mattio, was Head Varsity Football Coach for Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights, IL for 40+ years.
