Plainfield Students Win Awards at JJC Art Exhibit

PLAINFIELD, IL — Twenty District 202 high school student artists have been invited to exhibit their works, including four who received an Award of Excellence for their achievement in the “2016 Joliet Junior College Area High School Art Exhibition.”

Twenty-four area high schools submitted 115 pieces of art for this year’s exhibit. The exhibit runs through December 9, 2016 at the Laura A. Sprague Art Gallery at Joliet Junior College-Main Campus.

All students whose work was selected for exhibition received a Certificate of Recognition. Twenty-one student artists received Awards of Excellence including the four from District 202.
