Plainfield Teens Nominated For Military Academies

Rep. Bill Foster recommended the three students during a ceremony last month.

PLAINFIELD, IL -- Congressman Bill Foster (D-11th District) nominated three District 202 high school seniors to the Naval and Military academies at a ceremony on Feb. 18.

The three nominees are:
  • Matthew Robinson, Plainfield East High School, United States Naval Academy
  • Nathan Yusko, Plainfield High School-Central Campus, United States Naval Academy
  • Daniel Muncaster, Plainfield South High School, United States Military Academy (West Point)

Robinson, Yusko and Muncaster must serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation.
There are five military service academies including those attached to the Air Force, Merchant Marines and the Coast Guard.
