Plainfield Village Election: 2 Incumbents, 2 Newcomers On Ballot

Polls open at 6 a.m. Tuesday.

PLAINFIELD, IL -- Voters will make their picks for three open spots on the Plainfield Village Board on Tuesday.

Two incumbents, Margie Bonuchi and Garrett Peck, are seeking re-election, while two newcomers, Plainfield Park District commissioner Larry Newton and realtor Cally J. Larson have thrown their hats into the ring.

Newton was the only candidate of the four to fill out a Plainfield Patch election questionnaire.

Peck, a technology business owner who served a brief stint as the Plainfield Park District executive director, was elected to the board in 2009 and re-elected in 2013.

Bonuchi, district technology administrator for Plainfield School District, was also elected in 2009 and re-elected in 2013.

Village President Michael Collins is running unopposed.
