Police Blotter: Battery, DUI Charges

July 20

Domestic battery charges

Eric F. Scherner, 49, of the 13000 block of Flagg Drive, Plainfield, was arrested by and charged with domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of domestic violence, according to Will County jail booking records. Bail was $1,000.

Teen charged with DUI

Paul Durys, 18, of the 24000 block of Primrose, Plainfield, was taken into custody by Will County Sheriff's police and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.

DUI arrest

Francisco Jasso, 45, of the 14000 block of Meadow Lane, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at Joliet Road and Union Street and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.

DUI, hit and run allegations

Christopher Funk, 21, of the 15000 block of Corbin, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 10:19 p.m. in the 16000 block of South Route 59 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and hit and run, according to police.
