Police Department Raises Money For Special Olympics Illinois

The 18th annual fundraiser will be hosted at two local Dunkin' locations — on Route 59 and Lockport Road — Aug. 20.

PLAINFIELD, IL — Plainfield police are fundraising for the Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics for the 18th year Aug. 20.

The annual Coffee for Champs fundraiser will be held at two Dunkin' locations in town — at 13313 S. Route 59 and 25653 W. Lockport Road — from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. that Friday. Money raised will benefit the Special Olympics Illinois athletes.
