Pop-Up Gen Con Comes to The Wandering Dragon in Plainfield!
The country's largest tabletop gaming convention expands into satellite locations. The Dragon is 1 of 40 stores selected to host the events.
Gen Con is America's largest tabletop gaming convention and draws 50,000 - 60,000 unique attendees to Indianapolis every summer. 2019 marks Gen Con's 52nd anniversary and for the first time ever, the con is expanding into satellite locations through an exclusive list of premier game stores across the country, and calling it Pop-Up Gen Con.
The Wandering Dragon Game Shoppe, located in the heart of historic downtown Plainfield, is excited to be one of only 40 game stores in the nation to have been selected to host the Pop-Up Gen Con events during its inaugural year!
The Dragon has once again teamed up with Critical Grind Gaming, their gaming event partners, to run demos of the new Gen Con releases for the registered Pop-Up Gen Con badge holders. In addition to the demo events, there will be exclusive specials and a prize drawing for badge holders.

Pop-Up Gen Con runs Friday, 8/2 - Sunday, 8/4. To participate, attendees must first purchase their badge from the Gen Con site, and then register for the specific events on The Wandering Dragon's Meetup Event Calendar.
