Power To Temporarily Be Shut Off At PARC: Park District
Online and in-person registration at the Prairie Activity and Recreation Center will be shut off at the end of the month, officials said.

PLAINFIELD, IL — Power at the Plainfield Park District's Prairie Activity and Recreation Center will be shut off Sept. 26, and it's going to affect activities for the day, officials said.
Online and in-person registration will not be available on the last Monday of the month as the power will be shut off in order to connect a new solar field to the building.
Officials are estimating the power will be shut off for 4-6 hours.

PARC will remain open Sept. 26, but with a few changes in place:
- Phone calls to PARC will be rerouted to the Recreation Administration Center
- No internet or email at PARC
- Limited availability for restrooms at PARC
- No electronic machines (treadmills, bikes, etc.) available in Prairie Fit
- No email for the entire Park District
