Pro-life banquet for Joliet-based pregnancy center on for October 16

Pro-life? Come to the annual banquet for Living Alternatives Pregnancy Resource Center!

Calling all pro-life people in the Plainfield, Joliet, and Fox Valley area!

Have you heard about Living Alternatives yet? They’re an EFCA-accredited, non-profit organization dedicated to two things: ”saving the lives of unborn children by promoting life-affirming options and providing practical assistance, while sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed, and to minister restoration to those who have been wounded by the trauma of abortion.”

Saving babies’ lives and helping to restore those wounded by abortion. That’s what they do. Talk about a great cause.

Every year, Living Alternatives has a banquet, to celebrate victories and lives changed, as well as to raise funds. Last year’s banquet was the first one my wife and I attended. It had such an impact on us, that this year we’re going back, and we want to take you with us!

The 2014 banquet features Steve Arterburn, founder and chairman of New Life Ministries and host of the #1 nationally syndicated Christian counseling talk show, “New Life Live.” Steve is featured on over 180 radio stations nationwide, hosts women’s conferences, and serves as a teaching pastor at Heartland Church in Indianapolis. One of my favorite books by Steve is Every Man’s Battle.

Please join Living Alternatives in an evening of celebration as we share together the victory of hearts touched and lives transformed through Living Alternatives Pregnancy Resource Center. This is a great opportunity to join with other people in our area for food, meaningful conversation, and celebrating life.

There is no cost to attend this event thanks to underwriters and table sponsors who gave in advance of this event. An opportunity to make a financial gift to the ministry will be extended. I (Joel Settecase) am not in any way affiliated with Living Alternatives. But my family and I support them, and I strongly encourage you to join us for the 2014 annual banquet.
